Nels Anderson Just came to Idaho Territory in 1863. He and his wife, Emma, homesteaded along the Blackfoot River in 1870. He started a flour mill, a bank, and a canal company. This is his story, much of it in his own words through an amazing correspondence with a prisoner in Illinois. The book includes a family timeline and many photos.
